Burleigh Skateboards

Burleigh Skateboards combine a lifelong love of handmade woodwork and innovative techniques to create a smooth, authentic ride – reminiscent of a slow summer day on the Gold Coast.

Each board is created by Mal and his team at Burleigh Heads with timbers carefully selected for their unique grain, strength, flexibility and rarity. From the initial dressing of the timber, to the final hand sanding, hours of craftmanship are dedicated to highlighting the natural features of the chosen woods.

Burleigh Skateboards cruisers and longboards can be displayed as stunning wall art, or enjoyed as a daily rider.

All of the handcrafted decks available online are inspired by Mal’s favourite local Gold Coast and Northern NSW beaches, from Miami to Casuarina.
